Terms of Use

Last updated 26 May 2026. The rules of the road for using Posy. Please read; using the service means you accept them.

About these terms

These terms govern your use of the Posy service — the marketing site at posy.camera, the iOS and Android apps, the iOS App Clip, and the web capture page guests use to join an event. “Posy”, “we”, and “us” refer to Workyloop OÜ, an Estonian company (registry code 16837036). By creating an account or scanning an event QR, you agree to these terms.

Who can use Posy

You must be at least 16 years old to create a host account. Joining an event as a guest — by scanning a QR — is available to anyone the host invites, but Posy is not designed for use by children under 16, and hosts must not knowingly include them in an event without verifiable parental consent.

If you are using Posy on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

The service

Posy lets a host create an event, pick a shot count and filter, and share a QR code that guests scan to take photos inside the event. Photos are stored privately, can be hidden until a reveal time the host picks, and are then shown to the people who participated.

Posy is an evolving product. Features may be added, changed, or removed. We will do our best to give reasonable notice for material changes affecting paying hosts.

Host accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account, including the events you create and the guests you invite.

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. Deletion is immediate and irreversible — it removes your events, the participants you created, and the photos uploaded inside those events.

Acceptable use

Don't use Posy to host or upload:

  • Content that infringes another person's copyright, trademark, or privacy.

  • Content that is illegal in any jurisdiction where it is created, displayed, or stored — including child sexual abuse material, incitement to violence, or content that violates export controls or sanctions.

  • Photos of people who have not consented to being photographed and shared in the album of the event.

  • Anything intended to harass, defame, or expose private information about an individual.

  • Attempts to scrape Posy at scale, reverse-engineer the service, or interfere with the operation of the platform.

Hosts are responsible for the content of events they create and for the conduct of guests they invite. We may remove content and suspend accounts for violations of these terms.

Photos and content license

You retain all rights to the photos you upload. By uploading a photo to an event, you grant Posy a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, transmit, transcode, generate thumbnails, and display the photo back to the people participating in that event, for the sole purpose of operating the service.

We do not use your photos for advertising, marketing, training machine-learning models, or any purpose other than operating the service. We do not display them to people outside the event.

When you delete a photo, an event, or your account, the corresponding files are removed from active storage. Backups may take up to 30 days to fully purge.

Paid features and in-app purchases

Posy charges per event, not by subscription. Tiers above the free 5-guest level, and additive seat packs, are sold as in-app purchases — Apple in-app purchase on iOS and Google Play Billing on Android. The respective store processes the payment; we receive their net proceeds via the App Store or Google Play.

All in-app purchases are consumables (one-time purchases) and are non-refundable from us once the entitlement has been applied to your event. Refund requests are handled by the store that processed the purchase — Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, or Google Play at play.google.com/store/account/orders — per each store's standard refund policy.

Prices and tier levels may change. Changes apply only to new purchases; entitlements already applied to an event are honored at the level they were purchased at.

Disclaimers

Posy is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express, implied, or statutory — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that photos will be retained indefinitely, or that the reveal mechanism will fire to-the-second on any particular event.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Workyloop OÜ's aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to your use of Posy is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the affected event, or (b) twenty euros (€20).

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, or loss of data, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law — including liability for gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or death and personal injury.

Termination

You can stop using Posy at any time. You can delete your account from inside the app; deletion is immediate.

We may suspend or terminate accounts for material violations of these terms (e.g. uploading illegal content, attempting to attack the service). Where reasonably possible we will provide notice and a chance to correct the issue first.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Tallinn, Estonia. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you retain the protections of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated to hosts by email and shown in the app on next launch. Continued use after a material change constitutes acceptance.
